The ‘Paso Doble’ variety has very dark foliage of burgundy red with excellent pink in the middle of the leaves. The leaves of ‘Paso Doble’ keep the plant vibrant and remaining upright as the leaves are remarkably strong.

Needing protection from strong frosts as it is a native to New Zealand it can handle the climate, though is not fully hardy to colder northern hemisphere winters.

It can reach a height of 3 metres and a width of 1 metre, great for gardens and patios and it is available worldwide.
