This broad upright deciduous shrub has wonderful large flowerheads, abundant in late summer and autumn with lemon-coloured flowers.
Each year pruning will stimulate flowering. After being cut back to about 15cm in winter the pruned plant will reach a height of 1m to 1.5m and flower abundantly.
Regular watering is imortant, add mulch or copmpost to adid water retention.
Flowerheads appear from mid summer and consist of sterile lemon-coloured to creamy white flowers, quite exceptional for Hydrangea paniculata cultivars. They may be picked and used as dried flowers in winter.

Growell Plants is run by Ross and Lorraine Bayliss from their 25 acre property in North Canterbury which previously encompassed their wholesale nursery Bayliss Nurseries Ltd.
